Fleet
Built in 2007, the riverboat Arapaima accommodates a maximumof 20 passengers in 15 air-conditioned cabins. The dining and bar areas arealso air-conditioned. Decks, both covered and uncovered, are fitted with deckchairs and hammocks. A second riverboat, the m/v Cielito Lindo, is used forgroups of 11 or less.
Itineraries
Using the riverboat as a base, the 7-day itineraries explorethe Pacaya-Samiria Reserve or remote areas of the Rio Tigre or the Rio Tapiche.
Dining and Decor
Buffet-style meals include fresh, local foods such as fruitsand fresh-caught fish. Full bar.
Programs
Activities include night hikes into the rain forest,fishing, lounging on the decks, and visits to local markets.
Onboard Experience
Small ships that are comfortable but not luxurious provideeco-adventure tours. The focus of activity is on the surrounding Amazon river basin rather than on the ship.
