Visitors to San Jose will find a variety of accommodations. Downtown hotels provide access to many of the city's sights, but street noise can be a problem. Some of the smaller hotels, housed in refurbished mansions, offer the nicest lodging. Make reservations as far in advance as possible, particularly during the high season (mid-November to April).
