This was the first dockside gaming facility to open in Mississippi, in August 1992. After Hurricane Katrina, it was the first casino to reopen by moving its casino from the destroyed gaming barge into its hotel. It offers 31 gaming tables and 1,300 slot machines. The Isle's tropical theme carries over to its four restaurants—Calypso's Buffet, Taste of Farraddays', Tradewinds Express and Bragozzo.
