The world-renowned mosaic artist from neighboring Hancock County is known for allowing public participation in her murals, most recently with the Hurricane Katrina Memorial mural at Biloxi Town Green, which shows the actual height of the Katrina storm surge that hit the city. Outside the Biloxi Library downtown you can see her striking work celebrating the city's tricentennial. More of her work is on view at other public buildings along the Gulf Coast.
