Situated in an eight-story white structure with rooftop balustrades and round colonnaded towers at the corners, this large-scale operation is more elegant than its larger sister Riu Cancun and better suited to couples than to party-seekers. This is Riu's Cancun showplace, and extras like 24-hour room service—included in the A-I rates—and fine dining make it a standout. This is a better overall choice than the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, just around the point.
