In keeping with the laid-back atmosphere of the Turks and Caicos, festivities there are low-key.
March is time for the Island Triathlon Series. In April, locals and visitors alike take part in the Salt Cay Splashdown—a three-day festival with live music, food and bicycle races.
June, July and August are the months for fishing tournaments, as well as The Turks and Caicos Music & Cultural Festival, which features local and international music acts, regattas and pageants.
The Turks and Caicos International Film Festival takes place in October or November. November also brings the Conch Festival to Provo.
