This excellent museum covers the natural and cultural history of the province, focusing on the way people have interacted with the environment. Various galleries in the museum address the major climatic zones in the province, and there are replicas of an English exploration ship and the streets of Winnipeg in the 1920s. A planetarium and science center are adjacent to the museum. Museum and science gallery open Tuesday-Friday 10 am-4 pm, weekends and holidays till 5 pm.
