Professional Review
Located on Route 144, nine miles south of Route 1, midway between Portland and Augusta, one-half hour north of Boothbay Harbor, this is likely Maine's only inn with an organic farm and a herd of Nubian goats that guests are welcome to help milk.
Squire Samuel Tarbox himself built this place in 1825, though parts of this rambling National Register property date from 1763.
