On the West Thumb, near the Grant Village Visitors Center, the southernmost lodging in the park consists of six two-story chalets and a separate building near the village entrance holding the reception area and gift shop. A large general store and gas station round out the village’s offerings. At first glance, this property seems more like an apartment complex than a hotel, with its sparse registration area and no lobby seating, but it does offer solid surroundings for a reasonable price.
