Built in 1777 by an official of the Qianlong period, this compound became the home of the last emperor's father, Prince Gong. The estate is filled with beautiful rock gardens and lily ponds. Visitors can catch regular Peking opera performances in the theater with the 60-yuan package tour. It is a popular stop for Chinese tourists and can be overrun with visitors in the summer.
