Accommodations range from deluxe, full-service hotels to bed-and-breakfasts, quaint inns, holiday houses, farmhouses, youth hostels, campgrounds and small, locally managed hotels. (Breakfast is generally included for all types of accommodations unless otherwise specified.) Most properties are well run and very clean. Antwerp even has a floating hotel, the converted ship Christian V, anchored on the Scheldt River. Most Brussels hotels catering to business travelers offer discounts of up to 50% during July and August, when much of the country is on holiday. Discounts are also often available on weekends.
