One mile north of the historic district, 5 miles from Busch Gardens, this place, with access behind a Kmart, is awkward to reach. As Embassy Suites goes, this is a scaled-back version—Embassy Suites lite, shall we say. This five-story brick hotel with a handsome facade manages to stay quite sedate and reserved, despite the children who invade during the busy summer tourist season. From here it's about a quarter-mile's walk to catch the bus to the historic attractions and Busch Gardens.
