This is the place to see koalas, kookaburras and platypuses. Originally a sanctuary for injured animals, Healesville has become an open-range zoo with more than 200 species of Australian wildlife. You can walk through the park and see the animals in their natural habitats. There's also a restaurant and picnic facilities. Daily 9 am-5 pm.
