Park Hyatt is a chain of 23 full-service luxury hotels that can be found in major cities worldwide. The chain just opened a new location in Beijing in 2007 and is expected to open six more hotels in 2008. Amenities are specific to each hotel and include location-specific extravagancies such as complimentary designer 2007 Audi A8 L sedans (Washington), private art collection, beauty salon, licensed doctor on-call 24 hours, international videoconferencing (Tokyo), floral boutique, babysitting (Buenos Aires), and heated bath floor and marble bath (Moscow). Locations typically offer high-speed Internet, valet parking, 24-hour business center, multilingual staff, dry cleaning, laundry and pressing, complimentary shoe shine, daily newspaper, fitness center, swimming pool, 24-hour room service, cable/satellite TV, concierge service, dual-line phones, guest room thermostat, robes, and on-site bar and restaurant.
Grand Hyatt is a chain of 28 luxury business hotels around the world. Designed for leisure and corporate travelers, the Grand Hyatt accommodates large-scale meetings and conventions in a refined setting with state-of-the-art technology and world-class facilities for banquets and conferences. Amenities typically include a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars, lobby lounges, medium- to large-size meeting space, ballrooms, 24-hour secretarial and meeting assistance, modern fitness centers and fitness experts.
Hyatt Regency features classic, contemporary design and caters primarily to the business traveler. Individual business travelers and major conferences are accommodated at Hyatt Regency Hotels with extensive meeting and conference centers, state-of-the-art business centers, fitness centers, restaurants, bars and Hyatt’s Signature Regency Club.
Hyatt Resorts is a title added to Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Hotel locations. Hyatt resorts cater to family and individual leisure travel. They focus on reflecting the local culture of each hotel’s surrounding area whether in architecture or through the use of locally grown ingredients in spa treatments. Each resort also features gourmet regional cuisine in its on-site restaurants. Golf or Adventure vacation packages are available for many of the Hyatt Resort locations.
Hyatt Place is a new addition to the Hyatt family of hotels. The chain caters to today’s traveler through modern design and quality service. So far the Andaz London is the fledgling chain's only location, but two hotels in New York and one in Austin, Texas are expected to open soon. The brand name focuses on "simple luxuries and unexpected details" and follows the trend of an ever-growing boutique influence in chain hotels. In terms of cost and luxury it should be somewhere between the Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt.
