This hotel has nicely recovered from damages inflicted by a freak tidal surge that raked the eastern side of Matira Pointe in late 2005 and now looks like a new property.
Sitting beside Matira Beach, this luscious, all-bungalow resort spies Raiatea and Tahaa from Matira Beach on the southeastern corner of Bora Bora, although its around-the-clock concierge and butler services have given way to its new, more luxurious sister, the InterContinental Resort and Thalasso Spa Bora Bora.
