Located just north of The Four Seasons Resort at Haualalai, this is the only high-end resort in Hawaii to offer escape from the electrical world: no TVs, no phones, no radios, no clocks, no air-conditioning. Famed for its rustic aloha spirit and idyllic castaway locale, it was only the second resort on the island, opening shortly after Laurence Rockefeller's Mauna Kea Hotel in 1965.
