In Lhuntsi, in the northeast region, you'll find the Lhuntsi Dzong, jagged terrain and kishutara, a locally produced handwoven brocade. Not often visited because of its remote location, Lhuntsi is nevertheless well worth the effort. The Lhuntsi Tsechu festival is held December-January.
