Though this resort springs from the same company that brought forth the lowly Excalibur and Circus Circus, it nevertheless competes for the top end of the mass market, comparing favorably with the Bellagio, MGM Grand, Wynn and Venetian. Chic and sophisticated, the Mandalay Bay's only real flaw is its location at the south end of the Strip.
