In a convenient location in the city center, this hotel is two blocks from Chinatown, four from the Yarra River. The arrival of the Marriott brothers has lent this property a new lease on life. A local landmark for decades, this once-popular social center is much quieter these days but has never looked better. This is one of Marriott's smallest operations on the planet, yet the guest quarters are among the largest standard accommodations in Australia or anywhere, for that matter.
