Located next to the Majestic Theater, a quick stroll from Times square, and a few blocks from the Javitz center, this hotel is, like its neighborhood, bustling and a little dusty. Eighth Avenue still has an edge to it, but it is safe for families to stroll along late into the night. Exceedingly popular with large groups of international and domestic travelers, rates here are fair from the middle of the rate card down. Anyone tempted into paying $200 a night here is in for a disappointment. Grant
