Not far from the Kremlin, this museum is one of Moscow's main attractions. The impressionist paintings are especially good, but don't overlook the collection of Egyptian antiquities. Many of the displays are in English. The Pushkin Museum of Private Collections, in an annex to the left of the main museum, often exhibits drawings and sketches from the museum's collections.
