Walled and shaded by trees, this cemetery off Rue Caulaincourt is famous for its hillside graves of composers, artists and authors, including Edgar Degas, Jacques Offenbach, Stendhal (the pen name of Marie-Henri Beyle), Alexandre Dumas, Vaslav Nijinsky and Francois Truffaut. Open mid-March to early November Monday-Friday 8 am-6 pm, Saturday 8:30 am-6 pm, Sunday 9 am-6 pm; early November to mid-March Monday-Friday 8 am-5:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Sunday 9 am-5:30 pm.
