Visitors to Quebec will find the full range of accommodations, from budget lodgings to the most elegant deluxe hotels. Some of the familiar motel chains appear in the province, but visitors outside the major cities are much more likely to encounter a wide range of privately run motels, small hotels, country inns, resorts, farm vacation spots and bed-and-breakfasts. Areas containing popular attractions (the Laurentians, the north shore of the St. Lawrence) offer the most choices, including chalets and condos, but along the way, a single motel may be your only option.
