The country's oldest zoo is home to more than 2,100 animals. Main attractions include the bats' night house, a birdhouse with Brazilian species, and a monkey house with rare, tiny monkeys and apes. A restaurant, ice-cream stands, an amphitheater and a gift shop are on-site. Open daily except Monday 9 am-4:30 pm.
