Historic Roslyn served as the backdrop for scenes in the TV series Northern Exposure (though the fictional town was in Alaska, not Washington). The town offers an excellent museum (housing a collection of antique photographs) and the Brick Tavern, said to be the oldest continuously operating bar in Washington. Look for the circa-1905 cash register, running-water spittoon under the bar and—for rowdy customers—jail cells in the basement.
