This place stands alone at the secluded northern edge of the beach. Separated from the crowded Kaanapali scene, this resort faces perhaps its best stretch of sand, a mile-long strand lapped by mostly calm water.
Still undergoing its slow arduous renovation, this hotel is currently in a moderate state of disarray, and it looks like it will continue over the next year or so. Management is working hard not to annoy guests, but there is no getting around some of the mess and noise.
