Architecture buffs will want to make a pilgrimage to St. John's Abbey and University in St. Cloud. Most of the monastery and campus were designed by Bauhaus-meister Marcel Breuer (note the soaring flat face of its bell tower). St. Cloud is 60 mi/96 km northwest of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
