This hill looms over St. John's Harbour, offering a panoramic view of the ocean, port and city and was a strategic military point for centuries. It is topped by Cabot Tower, a national historic site. Consider taking the trail leading through the Battery, an ancient fishing community with roadways that become increasingly narrow.
