Accommodations range from deluxe—but small—resorts (not the megaresorts you would find, for instance, in Jamaica) to very simple, locally run inns and villas. Kingstown, on St. Vincent, has the largest selection of hotel accommodations. Many resorts lie on very secluded private islands, and prices may be quite high for relatively basic lodging (though the beauty, privacy and good service are the resorts' real value). If you choose an isolated resort, make very sure that isolation is what you want: Most offer few activities or entertainment options. Each private island usually has only one hotel or resort property.
