This hotel was the scene of a fire on 17 January and a second fire on 31 January 2008, causing at least $400,000 in damage. It was closed at inspection in May 2008.
On a small residential peninsula at the southern end of the state lies, this fine country-style resort has many qualities of an inn. This property is just off Route 1A, 20 minutes north of Portsmouth, and 90 minutes northeast of Boston. Similar to the Samoset Resort in Rockport, this place is a nicer option than The Cliff House in
