Located at Illinois Center, next door to the larger, bustling Hyatt and across the river from the lovely contemporary Sheraton, this Swiss treat is a standout when it comes to service and lovely accommodations. In fact this is one of the best-run commercial hotels in the Windy City, competing head to head with the Westin Michigan Avenue, and InterContinental, and well ahead of the Marriott Chicago Downtown. Many of its great water views, however, have disappeared behind the high-rise condominium
