This hotel is now part of the Taj Group. Situated between Commonwealth Avenue and Newbury Street, this property faces Boston's famed, bucolic Public Garden. Ironically, the Chanel outlet located beside the hotel's revolving door makes a more prominent statement than the Taj flag flying above the entrance. Based in India, Taj Hotels is having a difficulty time trying to market itself in class-conscious Beantown. More than a few returning guests inquire of the staff to see if the notable Parkview
