Shalom Aleichem, the pen name of Shalom Rabinovich, was a famous Yiddish writer whose works formed the basis for Fiddler on the Roof. The Shalom Aleichem House is devoted to Aleichem's writings and to Yiddish culture in general. A permanent exhibition highlights the writer's life, with photographs, first editions, manuscripts and personal artifacts. Saturday-Thursday 10 am-2 pm, Friday 10 am-1 pm.
