The Eretz Israel Museum is dedicated to the "archaeology, ethnography, folklore, Judaica, cultural history and local identity of the Land of Israel." Separate pavilions look into the country's historical connections to glass, coins, ceramics and copper. Within the boundaries of the museum complex you can visit Tel Qasile, where a Philistine port city once prospered in the 12th century BC.
