This establishment is one of the few grand railway hotels in the country—or in the U.K., for that matter—still going strong. Like its stellar siblings in Manchester, Cardiff and of course London, Sir Rocco Forte continually stokes these gems with money and fine staff. The latest changes here have been in the guest rooms and spa, with upgrades and alterations further improving the comfort levels and look of the place.
