The Blackstone, a Beaux-Arts building that had been vacant since the late 1990s, is nicknamed Chicago's "Hotel of Presidents" because a dozen U.S. presidents stayed there, including Franklin Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Harry Truman and John Kennedy.
