This may be the oldest hotel here, but it has lost some ground over the past few years, thanks to staid, standoffish management, whose delays in updating the facilities—especially the accommodations—has dropped it a notch in the ranks. Nevertheless, it still competes alongside the top addresses here, including the newer Arrabelle and time-tested Sonnenalp.
