This hotel competes head-to-head with the Four Seasons and the Park Hyatt serving as a shimmering example of indulgence, though its service standards fall short of expectations. Compared with the staff and levels of service at its Beverly Hills sibling, the crew here appears at times bumbling and inefficient. Not to say they don't have their shinning moments, but more training is needed to match the consistent levels encountered at peers Four Seasons, Park Hyatt and Ritz Carlton.
