In a prized location facing Central Park just north of Grand Army Plaza, this celebrated hotel, formerly a Four Seasons, is famous for its classic patina. The current owner, Taj Hotels, began stage two of a renovation program in January 2008. All guest accommodations are being overhauled, as are corridors, public areas and the bar. Also,
