In a stark 19-story building with offices on the first seven floors, this hotel is Cincinnati's underachiever. Once a drab Crowne Plaza, this hotel has been limping along as an independent since IHC left. To the owner's credit, this is a dependable midrange hotel, but the hotel lacks standout features. That said, the location and renovated guest rooms are the real highlights here. The scarcity of services and amenities is surprising, especially in light of the tough downtown competition.
