The 15th-century Duomo is home of the Shroud of Turin, which is only on display once every 25 years. (Otherwise, a copy is on view.) The Turin Shroud is a piece of linen said to have been the cloth that Jesus was wrapped in at burial. The mysterious cloth has survived several fires and is now kept protected in a black marble box behind a bulletproof glass wall. There's also a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper on the rear wall over the door. Monday-Saturday 7:30 am-noon and 3-7 pm, Sunday 8 am-noon and 3-7 pm. Free. Piazza San Giovanni, Turin. Phone 011-436-1540.
