Until the Grand Velas came along, this was the most upscale choice among the all-inclusives on Banderas Bay. On uncluttered beachfront next to the smaller Occidental, it is coming off the second renovation (and third name) since 2002. It succeeds with a more refined atmosphere, superior rooms, and an impressive pool complex and stretch of beach.
