A small town in the midst of rural farm country, Wapakoneta is the birthplace of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. Appropriately, the town's main attraction is the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum, which honors the astronaut and chronicles manned flight from the Wright brothers to the 1969 moon landing. It includes a Gemini space capsule that was piloted by Armstrong and has several space-simulation exhibits. 125 mi/200 km southwest of Cleveland.
