This redbrick castle, designed by James Renwick, was the Institution's original building. It now houses administrative offices and the Smithsonian Information Center, where an 18-minute video gives an overview of the 16 Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. Daily 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
