Built in the winter of 1903-04, this is one of the largest log buildings in the world. From every angle—the steep-pitched roof to the soaring atrium with its log-lined ceiling and massive iron chandeliers to the railings made of twisted tree lodgepole pine—it's impressive. Its rustic appearance has been dubbed "parkitecture." The inn is said to be haunted by more than one ghostly entity, but it is nonetheless the most frequently requested place for a night's lodging.
